Lindsay studied and obtained a BS in Biology & Chemistry from Northern Arizona University.  She then worked as a mycologist in the indoor air quality division of an environmental laboratory.   This lab experience and a desire to help clients led her into a project chemist role, managing laboratory projects for clients as a liaison between the two.  The dual experience of laboratory testing and project management led her into a marketing role in the same field to assist in growing the company footprint in indoor air quality.  This marketing experience then led into a career in the pharmaceutical industry. Her passion for preventing and mitigating contaminants that cause health issues is the foundation that then led her to the food business, starting a preservative-free line of foods while raising her children in North Carolina.

 

Lindsay started Kyookz in 2015 and recently sold it in 2025.  After ten years of building the brand, including an assortment of shelf stable and refrigerated pickles and spice packets, these products are now sold in hundreds of grocery stores in the US.  She currently enjoys supporting established and startup food businesses as a board member of WE Power.
